Wow!  Our first annual meeting will be on Saturday, Sept. 21st, 6PM, right after the days Jubilee events.  Jubilee is an annual 3-day event here wherein graduates and former residents come back to Mt. Hope.  An alumni get-together on Friday evening and a parade on Saturday before the many events on Main are highlights.  Well, yesterday a board member mentioned that perhaps we should be in the parade since we have a new sign with our logo…long story short, we’re doing it!   Our senior member, Alma Fleming, loved the idea and is getting her fellow members to join in riding on my red truck if necessary!
