After the fire loss of DuBois High School on June 23, 1950, students were educated in churches, store fronts and temporary buildings. The walking tour on Feb. 22, 2014 reminded us that the fire also destroyed the Jr. High school where younger students attended. The records of achievement of those students show this inconvenience did not have an adverse affect on most students . Many of their accomplishments are documented at the museum. For many years, students have constantly given praise to the dedication of the teachers and administrators for what they have been able to achieve in life. DuBois on Main Facebook has more pics.
