Mural update!

In October, we had a group of nine people come by to help paint the mural. This is a big project and will require lots of volunteer paint time, in fact , 470 hours according to the proposal. Here at DuBois on Main, we are fortunate to have two experienced community members who have volunteered to oversee this painting project in the DuBois on Main Community room when artist, Adam Hodges, is not available.
Why not plan to bring in a group of friends or relatives and so something different? Help paint a mural that, when completed, will be a “Welcome to Mount Hope” for those coming into our city. This is a unique community volunteer opportunity to have your group of 2-4 come in and paint for a few hours. We will provide light refreshments.
Interested???? Call our new number 681-422-3053. Let’s talk.
The board of directors and community volunteers are firmly behind this project. We have a new board member who will be working on setting up a schedule of paint times that will accommodate our students, retirees, businesses and their employees, churches and other groups. Any ideas? Call the above number and leave a message.
NOTE: No painting experience is required. Just your desire to be part of history and have fun while doing it.
