I received this information from Larry Roeder who is writing the history of ALL school teachers in Loudoun County, VA who served after the Civil War! He did further research after our conversation earlier today and came up with the information below. Knowing where she was born and her maiden name, hopefully, will be helpful in learning more about her. I could not find any information about 1937 DuBois graduates at the museum. The 1936 Echo was full of information about school organizations and plans, but not about students

Born 12 Oct 1913, Claremont, Fayette County, W. Virginia
Married 30 march 1939 (Manassas, Va) to Lewis Randolph Goens (1911-1967)
Died: Ranson, Jefferson COunty, W. Va. 12 October, 1999
Buried: Bolivar, Cedar Hill Cemetery “Mrs. Goens, born in Claremont, WV., was the daughter of the late Luther and Lucy Mildred Johnson Davis. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Laura Hicks, two brothers, Robert Davis and Curtis F. Davis. She was a member of the Camp Hill-Wesley United Methodist Church in Harpers Ferry and a former member of Mt. Zion AME United Methodist Church also of Harpers Ferry. She was a retired school teacher in Jefferson County and the West Virginia University. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She also serve as a County Extension worker instructing perparation of meals for low income families. “
Note that this says she was a retire school teacher from Jefferson. Perhaps this is out big lead for career information and a photo?
